History of America
The long awaited film by MK12, History of America, is finally here. Unfortunately the combination of a slow connection and their (probably swamped) server has left me with no satisfaction. I wanna see it! I would post the link, but, eh, I'm selfish. Just kidding.... here ya go, good luck!

AmazonMp3
Move over iTunes. Amazon is now selling DRM-Free music for 89-99 cents, a little less than the iTunes Plus cost. From what I can tell the selection is much wider than iTunes as well. Sweet.
EDIT: iTunes still has the wider selection at around 6 million (compared to Amazon's 2 million)

Musik
I've recieved a few compliments from my co-workers about the music that I listen to (hey rachel and travis!). For those that are interested here are a few tracks from my "Chill" playlist:
Sofa Rockers (Richard Dorfmeister Remix) - Sofa Surfers
Breathe - Telepopmusik
Useless - Depeche Mode
Past - Sub Sub
My Friend - Groove Armada
and last but not least, check out Massive Attack. A few good tracks are Exchange, Teardrop, Angel, and Special Cases. If you're really adventurous, just get the albums.

Pandora Radio - Personalized Music
I just discovered this site called Pandora Radio. It's a web 2.0 form of internet radio. Here's how it works:
Go to pandora.com
Type in an artist that you like
Then Pandora will create a personalized Station according to your music tastes
After you're astounded by the sheer awesomeness, you can register at the top
Here's an example. I typed in Massive Attack. Ten songs into the playlist and I've only skipped one song. It's a great way to find new music. The load times are super fast, usually no more than 2 seconds (and I'm on a school network).
This one is definitely a bookmark.

Floating Laptop
If my bed weren't lofted, I would so do this with my old computer.
A Study in Motion Graphics
A nice overview of After Effects. Really good refresher course, and best of all, it's free.

DC*B part deux
Yes, I know its late, but I've gotta share this.
As a special treat for all of you David Crowder fans, here's a special link to a sneak peek at the bands upcoming album, "Remedy." You may also preorder the album today on amazon.
If you don't this until Tuesday morning, hopefully it will brighten your day the way it did mine.

Facebook Email
Despite all of the recent changes to Facebook that make me want to cancel my account, this one is kind of cool.
Now you can send messages to email addresses. No more switching back and forth between email and Facebook. When you are writing a message, simply enter any emails you like into the “To:” field.

NewSpring Baptism
Tailgating before Baptism.... only at NewSpring.

Of course the best part was being there for my friends.
Erin and Felicia. Awesome friends. Not a bad pic of Perry either.

559 baptisms. Yeah God! what an awesome celebration.
This pic really has nothing to do with the baptism, but I thought it was cool.

Twitter T’s
Alright twitter'ers, here's your chance to create a custom twitter tee. Reactee.com
Under the Identify your shirt box, just click the 'Twitter users click here' link and finish your design. Is this pushing it too far? nah...but it brings new meaning to "walking advertisement." (hmm.. possible marketing tool for ministry? maybe...)

Hitting the Books
At long last, the newest Beyond Church opener is up. I've had a little problem connecting to my server the last few days, or so I thought. Apparently Dreamweaver is having issues, I ended up using Cyberduck to FTP (who knew?) Anyway, check it out.

Found this excellent preset for AE. Works wonderfully for keying assuming that your footage is well lit.

Jones Soda
I have this new obsession with Jones Soda. Has anyone else tried it? This stuff is amazing. It's made from pure cane sugar instead of corn syrup, which, in my opinion, makes for a better soda. I got hooked on it in my hometown of Lancaster, SC. Personal favorites are Cream Soda (this stuff gives IBC a run for its money) and MF Grape (no, it's really called that). Walmart in Anderson has a few flavors, but not all. Maybe I should check out Publix (Where Shopping is a Pleasure). If you've tried Jones, what's your favorite flavor?
